This is the oldest song... it goes back to the days when John Phillips and I worked on the ill-fated, never to be finished Dumb project. It’s about the great Australian desert, its dual beauty and danger in the landscape, cracked buildings. Chris programmed the drum and bass sequencing and the synthesizers, piano swirl around the movement, again a circular chord progression over which any note you choose to play. A wall of noise again and like most of the tracks, if you go digging, you’ll find something you hadn’t heard before.
