about

"In September of 2001, David Bridie acted as musical director for the Yeperenye Festival in Alice Springs. This cultural event, directed by Rachel Perkins, brought together indigenous people from all over Australia and featured an enactment of the Caterpillar Dreaming of the Arrente people from around Alice Springs. Several musical cues were created for the event. These pieces were a collaboration with Arrente elder, Max Stuart, who recently had a film made about his life entitled, "Black and White" starring Trainspotting actor Robert Carlisle."
