delegate here come the bootmen and the rabbit clowns don’t look them in the eye in this town called Delegate they’ll do you every time go and close the blinds and lock the doors those outsiders have thieving paws the flannel men and short boys come marching into town you’ll fit right in with your miserable heart your flag tattooed to your chest all tight woe begone the people who have lost the most are the ones who hate the least The poor souls who have pawned their legs have got the cleanest feet you’ll fit right in with your miserable heart ©2013 David Bridie

Diamond Field rework of 'Delegate' from David Bridie's 2013 album "Wake".

Diamond Field says "I contributed some keyboard parts to the album version and expanded on that with a synth-heavy 21st Century 80s reworking. I don't really think of this as a remix - I like the word rework better."

released January 1, 2014

Written by David Bridie
